The Legend of Swamiji
Guru Dharmanandha Swaroopa Hanumandas Swamiji is one of the rare surviving great masters of Kalaripayattu who has served as a warrior in the truest and highest spiritual sense.
He has dedicated his entire lifetime to the preservation of the sacred martial arts and healing tradition of South India. Through lifelong dedication and devotion to his Masters—whose direct spiritual and medical lineage traces back to the mighty Sage Agastya—Guruji acquired extraordinary mastery of the Marmas. He holds comprehensive records on ancient palm leaves (thaliyola) documenting hereditary remedies for virtually every known neuro-muscular ailment, skeletal disability, and sports trauma.
Swamiji is internationally recognised through his extensive global travels and television documentary features broadcast across the world on Discovery Channel, National Geographic, German, French, Swiss, and Japanese networks, alongside detailed features in international publications such as Yoga Journal.
"The wisdom of Kalari Chikilsa was not born in modern laboratories; it was born in ancient battlefields where life-saving interventions had to be instant, organic, and complete."
The Sacred Transmission to Saji Devarmana
Recognising Saji Devarmana's deep commitment to traditional healing, Swamiji accepted him as a direct disciple. Over 12 rigorous years of Gurukula training, Guruji entrusted him with the confidential palm-leaf manuscripts and the authentic methods of in-house medicine preparation. Today, every patient treated at Navajeevanam benefits directly from this unbroken lineage.
