Saji Devarmana
Saji Devarmana (Founder of Navajeevanam Kalari Vaidyamadam)
Saji Devarmana, belonging to the sacred traditional family lineage of Kalariyil Devarmana, is dedicated to preserving Kerala’s ancestral Kalari heritage. Rooted in the time-honoured Guru-Shishya Parampara, he practises Kalaripayattu training and traditional Kalari treatment, upholding the ancient knowledge and customs passed down through generations.
A Life Devoted to Kalari
Saji Devarmana's journey began in 1996, when he embraced Kalari not merely as a martial art but as a way of life, under the guidance of Poonthura Radhakrishnan Gurukkal. In 2001, his devotion led him to Sri Satguru Dharmanandha Swaroopa Hanumandas Swamiji, under whom he began advanced training in Kalari Chikitsa. He remained at his Guru's side until 2012, absorbing the esoteric Marma knowledge and ancestral treatment traditions entrusted to him. With three decades of dedicated practice and devotion behind him, he founded Navajeevanam Kalari Vaidyamadam in 2012. The Vaidyamadam was inaugurated by Swamiji himself, who lit the traditional lamp to bless its beginning.
